Is this video card a PCI-Express Inno3D GT 430 2GB SDDR3 DVI VGA HDMI Out PCI-E Graphics Card?

I want to buy this video card but i am not sure wether it is for a PCI-E slot or PCI-E 2.0 slot please help|||sorry but Ray is wrong, there are currently two versions of PCiE, 1.0 and 2.0. The slots are backward compatible but the cards are not, meaning that you can put a PCiE 1.0 card into a PCiE 2.0 slot and it will work, but putting a PCiE 2.0 card in a 1.0 slot is not guaranteed to work as you found out previously. The PCiE 2.0 cards have an different instruction set to run at the faster protocol speeds and although some cards will work in a version 1.0 slot not all are capable of doing so.

Of the various sites I checked that actually stated what PCiE version the card was, all said it was PCiE 2.0 (the inno3D website does not actually specify!)

You do of course realise that although it may have 2Gb of memory that this is the much slower DDR and the not the much better GDDR, if you can find a card with GDDR 4 or 5 as this is up to 10 times faster than standard DDR on your graphics cards, GDDR5 is twice as fast as GDDR3.|||well pcie-2.0 and pcie is the same thing , you can buy this without any fear . you will be able to use this card if your motherboard has pcie slot ,
