It's ok, but it's a bit outdated now. You'd be better off with something like an NVidia Geforce GTX260 or an ATI Radeon HD4870, HD5770 or HD5850. It all depends on how much you want to spend.|||It will play pretty much everything, but at lower frame rates on graphic intensive games and on low - medium settings.
It is the low end of gaming video cards right now.
If it's a good deal for you, you could buy it and use it for the mean time until you could save up and purchase a much better one, but if you love gaming with good quality and want a decent frame rate, wait abit longer and just purchase a card like suggested above.
The ATI Radeon HD 4890 is also a good card with a benchmark score of almost 3 times the 9800 and comparable to the Nvidia 285.
