Would a Asus ENGTS450DIRECTCUTOPD GeForce GTS 450 DirectCU TOP Video Card - 1024MB GDDR5, PCI-Express 2.0, DVI?

would a Asus ENGTS450DIRECTCUTOPD GeForce GTS 450 DirectCU TOP Video Card - 1024MB GDDR5, PCI-Express 2.0, DVI, HDMI, VGA, SLI, DirectX 11, Fermi fit into a Dell GX280 sff pci-e slot?

yes yes i know why would I do that? well i am going to upgrade the motherboard and proccessor later, but for now I would just like to know if It would run. I have a 500 watt power supply so I have that down but I would like to know if I could run this.

my system has 4 gigs of ram and 1terabite and a 2.8Ghz pci

I dont want to hear all the **** about how stupid it is, i know. just like to know if it is possible.|||As I'm sure you already know, the GTS 450 is a dual slot card. It doesn't actually connect to two slots on the motherboard, it just physically occupies the space of two cards and will use two expansion slots in the back of your systems case.

Dual slot cards are right at 1.5" wide and the length and height of that card are 8.54 inches x 4.37 inches.

You have the slot and power supply for it, and now you have the dimensions of the card so you should be able to measure inside your case to make sure you have the room for it.|||Yes it should fit in the slot but as you know not in the case properly as it is a small form factor case. How will you secure the top of the video card to your old case?

If using in that case the best low profile card you can use is a Radeon 5550 low profile.
