Do I have to take my agp vga card off my motherboard if ever I will install a pci-e video card?

My motherboard has both agp and pci-e slots. Can I leave the existing agp vga card there?|||its best to save space inside your computer so its recommended to take out your old card and installed your new one|||you can leave it there, if you want....but you can only use one at a time. Plus, leaving it there takes up valuable space for airflow...so it would be best to take it out.|||The simplest of answers is yes. Its just like when a motherboard has both SD-RAM and DDR RAM memory slots, you can only use either or. if you have both AGP and PCI-E slots in your PC yes you can have 2 cards installed but you can only use one card at a time. Sorry
